* This (FAA) data comes with some inherent problems. We will explain most of them later.

The issue here is that in order to find all STCs that can be applied to a particular aircraft, you will have to look in multiple places. As an example, the Ayres S2R Series (a neat little Spray Plane) was also manufactured by Thrush Aircraft, Inc.; most of you know that. So, you now have to look for STCs in two places; Ayres S2R and Thrush S2R. However, did you know that they were also manufactured by Quality Aerospace, Inc. ?? Now, you have three places to look -- are there any more ??

In an early attempt to get around that problem, we select 'Seach all MFGs' to get all the STCs that apply to the selected Model made by any manufacturer. In this case we find 'S2R' wherever it appears. One problem solved. However, that approach introduces a minor flaw, which we will fix later. When you search for Model 36, you will get both Beech 36 and Lear 36; Model 500 will get Cessna 500 (Citation) and Twin Commander 500. Fortunately there are not too many of these cases and we will deal with this issue more completely later.

And, for the moment, if you want the STCs on a Cessna 150F, you need to look at both the 150F and the 150 Series. This little nuisance will also be addressed later.
