Searching HTML and MS-Word Pages

When any text data is displayed in your browser, you can search for any word or phrase ("text string") by using the Browser's "Find" feature. In both Netscape and MS Internet Explorer, click on "Edit", then click on "Find" or "Find/Change". Or you can use "Ctrl-F" from the keyboard. A Text Entry Box will be displayed in which you can enter the word or phrase that you would like to find.

When an RTF text file is displayed in MS-Word or one of its derivatives, the procedure is essentially the same. Click on "Edit" and then click on "Find". Enter the word to phrase that you would like to find.

The good news here is that this procedure is virtually identical in almost all Word Processors and Web Browsers. If you need to find all occurrences of a word or phrase, use "Find Next".
