SAIB to AD 94-20-04

This Summary is current through Aug. 27, 1999 and is for Demonstration purposes only.
The last six entries and the TC above are Demonstration Links.

Demo Note 1: The last two entries above are not ADs. 98-CE-61 is a Notice of Proposed
Rule Making (NPRM), it may become an AD in the future.
ACE-98-22 is a Special
Airworthiness Information Bulletin (SAIB), it is "non-mandatory" information only.
These documents are included, typically at the end, because they are directly related
to the Airworthiness Process (ADs) and contain information that, at the very least, you
should find interesting. Our System treats them just like ADs.

Demo Note 2: 98-CE-61, AD 99-05-15 and 98-CE-61 W show an interesting sequence of
events that, fortunately, is not common and is detailed here as a good example of what
could happen.
98-CE-61 (an NPRM) proposed a "fuel tank selector placard" on a great
many Beech models.
AD 99-05-13 is the AD officially requiring the placard with an effective
date of April 19, 1999. On August 2, 1999,
98-CE-61 W was issued proposing to withdraw
the AD, which will only happen after the comment period and official action, which will
probably look like
"AD 99-05-13 W", some time in the future. We would normally not
show NPRM
98-CE-61 in the AD Summary after it has become AD 99-05-13, but do so
here for the example.
